Years ago, I worked as a commercial photographer and worked on conceptual fine art projects. This project "Dark Winter" was a Halloween themed conceptual project loosely based on the Salem Witches.
The other concept project I worked on in this spread was a "Marie Antoinette" themed fine art project called A Baroque Nightmare for Milk Skin Magazine.
I have created these Magazine mockups to highlight the photography.
I initially re-edited the raw images using the new version of Lightroom, then took it into InDesign to create an actual print ready template for this A4 magazine. Finally I took it into the new version of Photoshop, where I created the actual photorealistic comps for this magazine. There are 26 individual PSD compositions represented here.
I hope you enjoy this project as much as I have enjoyed bringing these photos from 2017 back to life.
